Vale of Neath Gliding Club

The Vale of Neath Gliding Club operates from an all grass airfield at Rhigos, near Glynneath, South Wales on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and most Public Holidays throughout the year. The club offers: Both winch and aerotow launches. Air experience/trial flights - for those who just wish to experience the thrill of gliding. Complete tuition through to Solo standard for those who wish to gain their ‘licence’. Continuation training to those who want to progress further. All tuition is given by British Gliding Association qualified instructors. For the experienced visiting pilots, The club gliders are available subject to a satisfactory site check. You are also welcome to use your own glider subject to satisfactory site check and there is NO fee for trailer parking during your visit. A reciprocal agreement is in place for daily membership.
