Helicopter Trial Lessons: This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the magic of flight in a way that only a helicopter can provide before committing to a full course. Flight Discovery Day: This is an undeniably magical day, involving 2 full briefings and 2 full training flights, including a demonstration of how a helicopter really is a unique aircraft. Private Pilot’s Licence: GEO Helicopters provide the full PPL(H) with a structure and timetable to suit all individual requirements. All flight training, ground school, ground exams and flight test are conducted at our facility in Caernarfon Airport. In order to qualify for the issue of a helicopter private license, you must complete the following: ° A minimum of 45 hrs. flight instruction ° Pass 9 written exams ° Obtain a class 2 medical ° Obtain a radio licence ° Pass a skills test All of the above can be completed at our base in Caernarfon Airport.
