Wye Valley Photography Workshop
A full or half day photography workshop in the heart of the Wye Valley. Come and develop your photography skills by exploring this beautiful corner of Wales.
From historic buildings in Chepstow, Tintern or Monmouth to the breathtaking views of Symonds Yat Rock, The Eagle’s Nest or the Devil’s Pulpit, as well as the river itself and waterfalls, this workshop is packed with outstanding locations to give you the most out of your day.
We will meet in the morning (or early afternoon) and after a chat to get to know each other and pin-point what you would like to achieve and learn. We will head out to the different locations, taking our time to enjoy the views and learn as much as possible.
Depending on your experience level, emphasis will be spent on pre-visualising scenes, composition, looking for interesting aspects to boost your composition, working with the available light, correct camera settings and when to use filters.
Bring whatever equipment you have but I do recommend at least the very least having a camera that allows you to control all the settings manually and a wide angle lens (18-55mm for example). Fully charged batteries (spares if you have them) and empty memory cards are a must.
Sturdy tripod and filters can be provided but do bring your own if you have them.
